PetroSkill Virtual Learning (PVL) launched Virtual Internship 2.0 in May 2026, strengthening its mission to make practical, industry-focused oil and gas education accessible to students and aspiring professionals across the globe.

In May 2026, PetroSkill Virtual Learning (PVL) launched its Virtual Internship 2.0, running from 8 May to 19 June 2026, marking another milestone in the organization's efforts to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice. Built on the vision of making learning practical, accessible, and impactful, the programme brought together 34 interns from different countries, creating a global learning environment for students and aspiring energy professionals. The internship focused on equipping participants with relevant industry knowledge, strengthening practical engineering skills, and providing opportunities to learn from experienced professionals. Through technical training and industry-oriented learning activities, participants gained exposure to concepts and tools relevant to the modern oil and gas industry. With participants from Ghana, Nigeria, Indonesia, Lebanon, Namibia, Azerbaijan, and the United Kingdom, the programme demonstrated PVL's growing international reach and its commitment to creating learning opportunities beyond geographical boundaries. Virtual Internship 2.0 represented an important step in PVL's growth, reinforcing its belief that access to quality industry-focused education should not be limited by location. Through initiatives like this, PVL continues to empower the next generation of energy professionals with the knowledge, practical skills, and industry exposure needed to build successful careers.
